would definitely book here again
The Standard King Room was super spacious, with a comfy bed and everything you need like a fridge and a flat-screen TV. Staff were incredibly helpful, even charged my phone when it was dying! Breakfast was unique and tasty. It was cozy outside with a Christmas market. Loved my time here!

The lighting in the room needs improvement!!! No desk makes it awkward for work!!! Lack of counter space in the bathroom is frustrating!!! The strange trapezoidal room shape complicates movement!!!

missingWrote a review on 30 Octstreet noise
Street noise from the busy intersection started early and chipped away at the tranquility needed for a good night's sleep. Limited dining options nearby, especially if you're after vegetarian or vegan choices. the ramen availability can be unreliable, so plan accordingly. Room service is every three days, which might not be convenient for those needing frequent housekeeping.

lovely stay with minor drawbacks
The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay enjoyable. The room was impeccably clean, and I appreciated the comfortable atmosphere it provided. I special liked the view of the city, which added a nice touch to my mornings.
However, the location is a bit further from the main station.

I stayed in the Deluxe King Room with Terrace for 3 nights, and it was surprisingly spacious. The bed was super comfy, and getting water from the fridge was a nice touch. The staff were super welcoming, making me feel right at home. I loved sitting out on the terrace, soaking in the views of Kyoto—it was such a great perk! The only downside was that sometimes it felt a bit too quiet, but that was fine for me.

Impeccably clean rooms and very supportive staff. A lovely terrace view. The unique Japanese washlet was a standout feature, really enhanced our comfort during the stay.
Some minor improvements could be made in terms of lighting and the bathroom counter space.
